Please do not rescind the mask orders as businesses reopen!!
Please keep face masks mandatory!
Please keep our freedoms as Americans and leave it up to the individual to decide whether or not to wear a mask!
How come when it comes to steps to opening up each step has to be discussed and vetted thoroughly, it usually takes days if not weeks before each new step can be achieved. Yet when it comes to taking a huge step backwards by mandating masks for all of orange county doctor Quick takes it upon herself to sneak that in to health order Friday night without any discussion or vetting?! And then she doesn’t even have the decency to show up at the BOS board meeting yesterday?!
Mandated masks are so wrong for so many reasons, you heard the hundred excellent speakers addressing all of them yesterday. How come we still have this overreaching mandate in place??
Who hired Dr. Quick, what exactly is your qualifications and how can we find a replacement for her??
Please kerp face masks mandatory! Thank you for thinking of our safety. Staying with science backed recommendations is the way to go. And as a high risk person I appreciate being considered.
I support face mask wearing because I want to protect the sick people in my family and in my county.
Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, please do not vote to rescind the order requiring face masks and other public safety measures. The state has moved OC into Late Stage 2 because masking was ordered here. If the order is rescinded, OC's progress to Stage 3, and the resumption of more normal lives, may be delayed.
Please keep the face masks mandatory and encourage enforcement of the order
Let’s get our business open and economy going, but continue fallowing safety guidelines.
We can continue to wear masks to protect ourselves and others!
Unlimited individual liberty without social responsibility is anarchy.
As someone who wants our county to open safely and be able to *stay* open, I strongly support the OC Heath Officer's mask order to wear masks when near other people in order to help limit spread of the virus and protect all employees.
Please keep the mandatory face mask mandate. If we all wear them, we can all go out. My dad is 84 and high risk. He had to go to the bank. They required him to come in to sign in person. He wore a mask and was relieved that the few people inside were also wearing masks.
It’s such a small thing to do to keep each other safe. And to go inside a place a business, it’s really a short period of time one has to wear one.
I support wearing masks because almost all studies and information provided proves they do help protect others and if all are required protects us all. The last thing we need is for this to get out of control now and be forced to lock down again. Protect workers and protect the community
Please keep the face masks mandatory and encourage enforcement of the order. I will not support the local economy if I do not feel safe in small businesses.
Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, can you please let us know you are hearing our comments?
Please do rescind the mask order
Disperse the $75m to local small businesses please. Almost every mayor voted for it.
What a pleasure to see so many thoughtful replies (nearly) all reiterating support for masks.
25 year physician in OC... board-certified pediatrician.
Please wear masks when outside in public!!!!
I use N-95 when in stores because the anti-mask crowd is also not observing social distance. I do not want to infect dumb people when I may be undiagnosed and asymptomatic.
Asymptomatic contagion is THE issue.
